In Million Lords, players often use specific terminology to describe various strategies and game elements. Here are some common terms:

  • Demo: Refers to an attack that causes a player's experience to drop below 0%. When attacking a significantly weaker opponent, a 'demo' attack can be launched, which reduces the attacker's speed and limits the number of troops sent to 40% of the city's wall capacity.
  • Greys: Towns that appear when a player has been inactive for five days. These towns maintain 100% experience and are available for capture by any player.
  • Sniping: A tactic where you time your troop movements to arrive just after an opponent's attack, positioning your forces defensively. If executed correctly, the opponent won't have sufficient time to relocate their troops, making them vulnerable, especially if they have low bravery. This strategy is commonly used around temples.
  • Underwalling: Upgrading a town to maximize resource gains, leading to scenarios where an attacker loses over 80% of their troops but still captures the town and receives a substantial refund.
  • Walling: Successfully defending a town, either by upgrading it or by strategically moving troops to achieve a defensive victory.
  • Gold Walling: Upgrading a town just before an opponent's attack lands. If the attacker fails to scout the town again to notice the upgrade, they may be caught off guard, resulting in a successful defense.
