As a new player, it can be hard to orientate and to know which stats to rely on more. But as you continue to play, you'll get a better understanding of the game and build your own strategy bnased on the available stats that yoyu have gained throught the seasons.

For new players, most reccommended tip is to bring their Fearless and Brave at 90%, to not wound their troops.
Maximum cap is 90%. Be careful to not add more skill points than necessary. You could use them to improve other skills.
After maximizing your Fear and Brave, you can focus on attack & speed, or attack & defense, or balance all three skills at the same time attack-speed-defense.
As you continue to collect gear items and upgrade them, you can start working on your troops and gold production.
